CamelBak originated the wearable hydration reservoir and they continue to be the most popular hydration brand worldwide. I was tasked with updating and improving the design of their flagship component.

The large port opening required the design of a new type of o-ring. Form inspiration was drawn from water droplets.
Built-in support arms keep the reservoir open to speed up the drying process, and a folding hanger also keeps the tube connector open for ventilation.
I invented this patented innovation which helped prop open the reservoir for improved air flow when drying.
We engineered multiple versions of the product to suit different backpacks.
